A Wedding at Cornhill Castle

CORNHILL CASTLE WEDDING // APRIL 2022

It is always a pleasure to photograph at the stunning Cornhill Castle. Their recent refurbishment and expansion of accommodation makes it the ideal wedding venue. The original castle building in itself is jaw dropping, as soon as you come up the driveway and you see the castle you are in awe! Today I was here for the gorgeous Emma & Gary’s wedding. With the weather being a bit iffy, I thought it would be a challenging day but in goos Scottish fashion, the weather played ball at all the right times!

I met the boys downstairs for a few quick photos before heading back up to the girls room. There was so much going on, I didn’t want to miss any of it!

Emma looked picture perfect in her dress. I honestly could of stood there and photographed her all day! But we had a wedding to get to where Gary was eagerly awaiting his bride!

After the ceremony we had a dry moment so group photos and a quick walk around the grounds with Emma & Gary.

Emma & Gary done such a great job with photos, so smiley and happy despite how freezing it was outside! Even if it was raining there are some gorgeous spots inside for photos too!

We all made our way into the ballroom for speeches and dinner.

After dinner the light was great so I pulled them outside for the few photos, then about 30 mins later the light was INSANE so I had to get them out again, this is what we ended up with! Sorry for making you guys go outside so much!! haha.

Finally it was tine for cake cutting and first dance. Guests scattered on the dance floor pulling some awesome shapes for the camera! I left them all to enjoy their night but I had such a blast at this wedding. I can’t thank them enough for having me!
