Cornhill Castle Wedding
CORNHILL CASTLE // NOV 2021
Nicole & Dom had waited a long time for their day. I think it was over two year before that I met them for their Engagement Session, then covid got in the way but finally we are here! I joined Nicole as she was getting ready with her army of bridesmaids in the castle.
I met Dom and the boys outside as they arrived. All looking dapper and excited for the day.
I loved the tiny details on the back of Nicoles dress, absolutely beautiful. She did a happy dance once she was finally ready to go and rounded up the maids of a shot of tequila!
Dom waited excitedly for Nicole to walk down the aisle. They had their ceremony outside in the marquee. They had a humanist ceremony performed by Hugh McGuiness filled with lots of laughter.
As the sun beamed out from behind the clouds we lined all the guests up for a confetti photo and then their dog Kaiser turned up and stole the show!
We were lucky that Autumn had hit slightly later on in the year. The trees were a gorgeous shade of burnt orange making for a striking backdrop!
I took the couple for a walk round the Castle, not venturing too far so they could get some time in with their guests too.
Cornhill castle was recently renovated and I loved the new art deco style bar, there is definitely lots of spaces indoors for photos if you have bad weather.
Guests mingled in the conservatory whilst waiting to be seated for dinner.
We were treated to some fantastic speeches, really entertaining and lots of laughs coming from the tables.
After dinner Nicole & Dom made their entrance to cut the cake and continue in to their first dance.
Then everyone joined them on the dance floor creating a big circle round the couple just cheering and dancing. It was one of the busiest dance floors Ive seen! Thanks so much for having me guys! What a joy to be able to capture this wedding!
