Dundas Castle Wedding
Venue: Dundas Castle, South Queensferry
Dundas Castle is literally this hidden gem at the back of South Queensferry. It is stunning! Natalie and Andrew found it whilst sifting through loads of venues but they knew that Dundas Castle was perfect for their day. I couldn’t wait to shoot there! I met Natalie as she arrived at Dundas Castle where it was slightly wet but nothing to worry about.
Upstairs in one of the bedrooms the girls were topping up (make up and drinks!)
Andrew and the boys were in the billiard room just chilling with some drinks and playing snooker.
Literally gobsmacked when Natalie put on her dress. She was beautiful!
All the girls looked amazing. I loved the colours. The flowers were from White House Flowers.
The Grand Staircase.
Natalie was piped along to the keep with the bells ringing to let the guests know she was on her way. Andrew waited patiently.
They had a humanist ceremony done by the fantastic Tim Maguire. He always makes sure your ceremony is made personal to you and likes to get everyone laughing. The Keep made a beautiful backdrop!
Natalie so excited to me the new Mrs Sutherland
From the Keep we went one staircase up to the roof of the Castle. To say it was windy would be an understatement! We were all trying to steady ourselves through a hurricane! Natalie’s veil worked great in the wind.
Bella made an appearance so she could get some photos with her Mum and Dad.
Guests mingled in the hall before Natalie and Andrew made their grand entrance.
The beautiful bridal party!
The marquee was set up all ready for the guests to arrive.
We immediately went in to speeches and had a few good laughs.
Afterwards I look Natalie and Andrew out for a quick walk.
We headed back into the Marquee for cake cutting and then the first dance.
All the guests then joined them on the floor to party the night away. What a spectacular Dundas Castle Wedding. I can’t thank Natalie and Andrew enough for letting me capture their day. I wish them all the best for the future.
