CORNHIlL CASTLE // OCT 2023

Located in the heart of the Scottish countryside, Cornhill Castle Wedding venue offers a picturesque setting for couples looking to exchange vows in a beautiful and serene atmosphere. Today was Josie & Graeme’s turn! I know Josie has been planning this day for so long - she even shared with me her planning folder which was one of the best I have seen. Josie opted for a timeless elegant look with black and white colours.

Graeme & the boys looked so smart in their suit and ties. Its nice to have a change from the kilts every now and then.

Josie got ready in the bridal suit and had first looks with her two boys and her Dad. It was such a lovely moment - then shots with the girls before heading downstairs to the marquee.

Graeme waited nervously for Josie to come down the aisle. Just before she made her entrance the kids handed out bottles of beer to the men and roses for the ladies. Such a beautiful idea!

They had a lovely humanist ceremony with loads of laughs and the story of how they met. The bottom of the aisle was decorated with white roses to compliment the theme of the day! Josie and Graeme had the perfect kiss as they walked back up the aisle as husband and wife.

The weather was a bit wet! So we used the inside of the castle for the group photos.

Graeme & Josie then had some photos on their own around the castle.

Josie had this fabulous idea to make a champagne tower in the champagne room - so we climbed up to the room in the tallest tower, poured the champagne and captured it all! Highly recommend if you are also having your wedding at this venue!

We managed to scoot outside for a few moments between the rain and got a couple of shots of them in front of the castle.

Guests made their way in for dinner and I loved how Josie, Graeme and the boys sat at the top table as a family.

After dinner sparkler season had arrived so we got all the guests outside for some fun!

Finally we got on to cutting the cake and heading to the dance floor to celebrate for the rest of the night. Josie was an absolutely dream bride who planned her day to a tee and then spent the whole day laughing and smiling - it was the perfect wedding at Cornhill Castle.
