GLASGOW ENGINE WORKS // OCT 2023

The Engine Works in Glasgow is a flexible modern event space with a mix of old charm and new style. It's great for events like weddings. The main hall is large with high ceilings and lots of natural light, making it a comfortable and lively place. Located centrally, The Engine Works is a special place for any event in Glasgow. I personally love the industrial vibe it has and the fact you can leave it empty or spruce it up and you will still have a gorgeous setting.

Today it was Louise & Adams turn to get married. I joined Louise in her parents house as she was getting ready with her family and bridesmaids.

Louise oozed classic elegance in her decor and dress choice. She looked stunning as she glided down the stairs to show everyone her dress for the first time.

I then headed to the Engine Works to get some photos of the decor and to meet Adam and the boys for a few before photos.

The girls arrived and then Louise was walked down the aisle by her Dad. They got married in one of the old warehouses with brick walls and pops of colour with the floral decor.

David the humanist conducted the ceremony and honestly he is one of the funniest guys out there! Highly recommend for your ceremony!

Afterwards guests gathered in the courtyard to throw confetti (tonnes of it) and then we got some photos of the bridal party.

We used both the outdoor and indoor space for couples photos. This venue is ideal for bad weather!

Upstairs we had big empty rooms we could use for photos and I just love the warehouse vibe!

I loved all the decor and the gifts of Glasweegin! Guests entered the dining hall and sat for speeches.

They had this gorgeous neon sign hanging over the dance floor so I knew I had to get a shot of that!

It was then time to cut the cake and head on into the first dance. The room was lit up beautifully!

Afterwards guests joined them on the dancefloor (sunglasses and all) to party the night away and make the best memories! Thank you so much for having me along to your Engineworks Wedding!
