A Brig'o'doon Wedding

BRIGODOON WEDDING ALLOWAY // JUNE 2022

Another gorgeous day in this Scottish summer and I headed down the Ayrshire coast to Brig’o’doon - a beautiful wedding venue with historical links to Robert Burns, you couldn’t get a more Scottish venue if you tried! Abby was getting ready in a room upstairs with her maids.

Steven arrived looking handsome in his kilt with all his groomsmen.

Abby chose a floaty A-line dress which suited her perfectly. Her Dad was quite emotional when he saw her for the first time. He looked so proud to walk her down the aisle.

They exchanged Vows on the stage of the main hall which is a jaw dropping setting with wooden beams and giant windows that let in loads of light. After the ceremony all the guests followed the couple into the courtyard for confetti and drinks.

We had a special appearance from their fur baby, photos with the family and then we took some photos under this gorgeous big tree by the water.

The couple made their entrance back into the main hall for speeches and dinner.

After dinner I drove the couple to a nearby beach where we found a castle in the distance. I always love to take my couples somewhere in the evening for a bit of a different effect on the photos - also its good cause usually they are a wee bit merry after a few wines!

We returned to the hotel for cake cutting and dancing. These guests had some great moves on the dance floor! It was a gorgeous Brig’o’doon Wedding thanks so much for having me!
