A Harvest Moon Wedding

HARVEST MOON WEDDING, DUNBAR // JUNE 2022

Harvest Moon is this gorgeous venue on the East Coast of Scotland, just down from Edinburgh. I was here a few years ago and I remember it to be stunning! Beach Huts and tree houses for guests, big fire pits to gather round at night, Chickens, Goats, Alpacas - the ultimate glamping experience. I arrived at the cottage where Chey was getting ready with her bridesmaids and family.

At Harvest Moon you can choose to have your wedding in several different spots - Chey & Matt fell in love with the woodland location.

The boys were getting ready down at the beach huts. It was unusually hot for a Scottish day so sunglasses were out!

Chey looked stunning in her fairytale wedding gown! Her Dad looked so proud as they all made their way into the woodland for an absolutely magical ceremony.

Guests sat on hay bales as the trees made a canopy from the sunshine. It was warm. Once the couple made their way up the aisle. I quickly created a confetti tunnel.

Guests made their way back to the cottage for canapes and drinks in the garden. I kept Chey & Matt behind for a few photos in the beautiful trees.

In the afternoon it was hotting up so guests were having a fun time in the garden. It was glorious!

The tent was beautifully set up for dinner and speeches.

After dinner I took them down to the beach for a few photos.

We then went into dancing! The happy couple took to the floor for their first dance. Chey had a special father/daughter dance and all the guests filled the floor to party!

Finally guests were treated to a some wood fired pizza - not before the bride and groom got in there first! Thanks so much for having me as your photographer guys! This was such a fun day!
