DALMENY PARK HOTEL // JUne 2023

Dalmeny Park Hotel is an ideal wedding venue with stunning gardens and countryside views. Its architecture add sophistication. Stacey & Ben choose this venue for their day as it is close to where Stacey grew up. The weather today was to be very wet, I already expected this so we had a bit of a plan in mind to counteract that. I joined Stacey as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids at the venue.

Ben and the boys arrived looking very handsome in their kilts! Their two gorgeous dogs joined us as well! Im such a dog person, always bring your dogs please!!!

Stacey took some quiet time in the honeymoon suite to get ready with her Mum. Her Dad looked so proud when he came to pick her up.

Ben was getting a bit emotional just before Stacey walked down the aisle. The dogs were settled in the corner ready to watch Mum and Dad get married. Stacey walked down the aisle with her Dad. She looked so beautiful!

They had a humanist ceremony in which the main focus was all about them and how they met. We also got some funny stories in there too. This is about the time the heavy rain started so luckily Dalmeny Park has a canopy we could shelter under for photos with the dogs before they left to a nap.

Again we used the canopy for the family photos and I tucked them under the front door and used the indoor staircase to keep them dry. I knew the rain would be off after dinner so I wasn’t too worried about going outside with them at this time.

They had some beautiful styling for the tables. Everyone entered the dining room to sit for speeches and dinner.

After dinner - wow what a difference! The sun was out and we got everyone outside to do the confetti shot that we couldn’t do earlier.

I took them a wee walk round the gardens and we ever got some sunnies on at one point.

What a perfect ending to the day! We then went inside for a spectacular first dance - the band really worked the crowd up and kept the dance floor jam packed! It was such a cool day…Thanks so much for having me at your Dalmeny Park Wedding!!
