TAYPARK HOUSE // AUG 2023

Taypark House is an attractive and sophisticated place in Dundee. It has beautiful and timeless architecture, updated facilities, fashionable accommodations, breathtaking views of River Tay, and a stunning backdrop. Combining old-fashioned charm with modern style, Taypark House provides an exceptional and memorable experience for weddings. Today was Shanna & Owens Wedding. I had to keep an eye on the weather as I knew it was supposed to rain on and off all day but for now I joined Shanna up in the bridal suite as she was getting ready with her maids.

I loved the bronze colour that Shanna went with for theme - it was so different and worked well with the blacks. I headed to see Owen who was getting ready in another room. He was looking dapper in his suit. The bride and groom wrote letters to each other which they read before the ceremony, a beautiful idea.

Shanna made a big reveal to her bridesmaids and the was walked down the aisle by her lovely gran.

They a lovely humanist ceremony performed by Gary Smith (who was also my humanist at my wedding!) afterwards we opted for group photos inside as it was raining but luckily we had a beautiful backdrop to use.

There is a little woodland outside so I managed to shelter them under some trees and umbrellas for a few photos.

All the guest headed up to the barn for speeches and dinner.

After dinner it stopped raining so we gathered everyone outside for confetti which we couldn’t get earlier and then a few more photos with Shanna and Owen without being rained on!

We had a champagne tower which I always love for a photo op, first dance and then a saxophonist played for the first few songs which kept the dance floor busy! Thank you to Shanna & Owen for having me, it was a beautiful Taypark House Wedding.
