Wedding at Rowallan Castle
ROWALLAN CASTLE WEDDING // SEPT 2021
I remember I got a message from Cat, it was only a month before the wedding but due to Covid thats just how things worked these days. She told me she was getting married at Rowallan Castle and I was instantly excited. It is definitely becoming my new favourite venue to shoot - gorgeous big suite for getting ready, grand staircases, library and acres of lad for photos not to mention the gorgeous red vines creeping up the walls of an old castle….every photographers dream! I Joined Cat and the girls as they were getting ready.
I agreed to meet the Josh and the boys in the library, I love it in there! and then we headed outside for some photo ops.
I loved Cat’s classic and daring red lip finish it worked perfectly with her gorgeous dress.
Josh eagerly waited for his bride in the ceremony room. As soon as she walked through the door, hand in hand with her Dad, Josh got a bit emotional and who can blame him!!!
With the mild wether guests mingled out in the courtyard whilst we done confetti and group photos. I then took the couple over to the vines, I absolutely love the colours!
We took a walk round the grounds as the guests filtered back inside
The room was beautifully set up for dinner and speeches. Loads of funny moments during the speeches, even a shot or two.
After dinner we popped some prosecco before heading in to cut the cake and get into the first dance.
It then just broke out into one big party! I love when the dancefloor is so full so early on in the night! Thanks so much to Catriona & Josh for having me as their photographer and I hope they had the best day!
