Sometimes planning a huge wedding gets a bit much and taking a smaller approach means that you have a mot more freedom to choose what to do on your day and thats exactly what David & Hilary did. Opting for a simple wedding ceremony and dinner with their closest friends and family afterwards. I met Hilary as she was getting ready with her sister in a Glasgow hotel.

23 Montrose Street is Glasgows registry office. They have a selection of gorgeous rooms to get married in and the building itself is a stunning piece of architecture. David waited in the room for his bride…a little nervous I think.

After the ceremony we took photos with family before they headed to the restaurant. When I met David & Hilary I knew they were up for some fun so I took them around a few city centre locations before driving to the Barras for some quirky photos.

I love the colours and the style of the Barras, Ive always wanted to shoot here. David and Hilary just had the most fun in front of the camera and went with some of my crazy ideas.
