A Wedding at The Barn at Harburn

The Barn at Harburn // JULY 2022

My favourite barn venue! The Barn at Harburn is near West Calder and you get full use of 2 barns, the farmhouse and you can add in extra accommodation is needed. Its one of those DIY venues so you can decorate it as you want and its just got the best views and location for photos. I joined Susan as she was getting ready upstairs in the farmhouse with her family and wee dog Bingley!

Ryan was nearby in a cottage with his groomsmen, all looking very smart. They headed up to the garden to help set up - it was looking amazing!

Susan was so excited to get her wedding dress on…she looked stunning! Her bridemaids hadn’t seen the dress so it was nice to do a reveal for them.

Susan walked down the aisle to a very shocked and happy Ryan. They both laughed and smiled the whole way through the ceremony which was performed by Robert Anthony.

After the ceremony it was time for confetti and a wee photoshoot with Bingley!

I took the couple around the garden for photos, its so beautiful here you dont need to walk far!

The barn was set up beautifully for dinner and as the guests moved in to sit for dinner and speeches we were able to get a few more photos around the barn.

After dinner I took them to a different location for a few more photos, Bingley still stealing the show!

We cut the cake and guests blew bubbles as they took to the floor for their first dance. Susan had a change of dress for the rest of the night but as soon as she changed the sun came out so I whisked them out for a couple more photos before I left.
