Kimpton Charlotte Square Wedding

KiMpton Charlotte Square, Edinburgh // Sept 2022

It was a brand new venue for me today, the Kimpton Charlotte Square in Edinburgh. I loved the style inside, many, many plants a gorgeous glass roof over the central bar giving in a glasshouse feel. I met Nicola as she was getting ready in one of the rooms with her maids.

William was in another room getting ready with the guys and their adorable baby Louie.

Nicola looks stunning as her Mum helped her into her dress and she suprised the bridesmaids and her Dad.

They had a beautiful Humanist ceremony performed by Tegan Elder with lots of laughs and funny stories. Afterwards they greeted guests in the bar before heading into the private gardens for photos.

We wandered along Edinburghs famous Rose St. where the public cheered at the couple - we also got a congratulations nod from an Edinburgh bus driver! At the end of Rose St. you get some gorgeous views of Edinburgh Castle.

Back inside I took some photos of their beautiful decor and used the hotels gorgeous interior for the couple!

Everyone sat for speeches and then just after little Louie woke up from his nap…he hasn’t really been in any photos yet so I whisk the family just out to the bar to make sure I get a nice family shot of them together.

Later on guests followed into the ballroom for Cake Cutting, First Dance and some amazing entertainment with DJ, singer and saxaphone. It really brought everyone on to the floor and they looked like they were ready to party all night! Thanks to Nicole & William for having me as your photographer.
